I’m a California‑licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Psychology (with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy). Before Morning View Family Therapy, I worked at a community mental health clinic helping at-risk populations and spent six years as a professional (working in schools and in‑home as a behavioral specialist). My background gives me a deep understanding of inter-generational trauma, cultural pressures, and the unique challenges faced by Hispanic and other culturally similar clients—especially men and women navigating the legacy of machismo and those ready to rewrite the script on their emotional lives.

In sessions, you can expect a warm, non‑judgmental space grounded in person‑centered care, where we’ll check in on your week, process what matters most to you, and revisit your treatment goals. I blend CBT, ACT, and mindfulness interventions to help you build grounding skills, reframe negative self‑talk, and cultivate self‑compassion. We’ll track progress together through symptom checklists, in‑session reflections, and personal check‑ins—so you can see and celebrate each step of your growth.

As someone who grew up in a culture where mental health was taboo and machismo defined “strength,” I’m passionate about guiding others—parents exploring parenting styles, adults breaking free from cultural expectations, or teens finding their own voice—toward genuine self‑actualization and emotional connection. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
